We offer a number of fixed fee packages including a one off 1 hour advice meeting for £125 plus VAT.
During the fixed fee meeting we can advise you as to the law and what steps you can to take to deal with your particular issue to include alternatives to Court action, such as negotiation advice and mediation (read more about this here).
In respect of divorce or dissolution we offer a fixed fee package as follows:-
Fixed fees for divorce are offered on the basis that the proceedings are straightforward and do not apply to cases involving children or financial issues. A separate fixed fee may also be offered in relation to applying for a financial Order where agreement has previously been made either between the parties or through mediation.
Our fixed fee cost for a Petitioner in divorce proceedings is £450 + VAT plus Court fees.
For a Respondent in divorce proceedings where no matters relating to children or finances need resolving. Maximum two meetings:-
Our fixed fee costs for a Respondent in divorce proceedings are £250 + VAT. There are no disbursements or Court fees payable.
For a Petitioner or Respondent where drafting a financial Consent Order from a Deed of Separation or mediated agreement, maximum two meetings:-
This is applicable in cases where the parties have agreed either between themselves or through mediation and no negotiation or advice is required and is limited to a straight forward meeting to take instructions and drafting an agreement or advising on a draft supplied by the other party for filing at court.
The fixed fee cost in this case is £450 + VAT plus Court fees for the Applicant.
Private Funding in Family cases.
Our solicitors current hourly rate is £200 per hour.
All fees are plus VAT. Routine telephone calls, e-mails and letters are charged in addition.
In all cases, we shall require funds on account before we commence work.
Disbursements such as fees for expert reports and Court fees are payable separately in addition to the fixed fees.
Please note that due to money laundering regulations we will require proof of your identity (e.g. passport/driving license with photographs)
Proof of your address (e.g. a copy of up to date utility bill).
